I love Android, almost as much as my co-Authors love their Apple’s and iOS’s but unless you have a phone or a tablet which is running pure, unadulterated Android then you aren’t getting the full experience but rather a heavily watered down version, just look at how dire the Android tablet market is.
If you’re like me then you use multiple devices over the course of a day (in my case it can be up to 6) and if like me you like to take notes wouldn’t it be great if you could take a note on one device and then for that note to be synced with all of your other devices? Well up until recently I thought that option was Google Docs which is fine if you’re on a PC or Mac with a full fat OS but I found it be be a little lacking on iOS and Android devices. But worry no longer intrepid note takers as Evernote is here to save the day.
It took us years and years and years to reach Firefox version 4 but with only a few months passing since its most awaited release we already find ourselves ready to download version 6.
You have all probably read about the security breaches that have happened in recent months including the Sony PlayStation Network debacle, various Gaming websites, Fox.com and many, many more.
This has raised many questions over how companies treat our personal data and the measures with which they take to protect it. As a result it saw the brief (but even that was too long) rise to prominence of Lulsec; a loose group of people (I refuse to use the term hacker because they were not that) who claimed to be exposing flaws in systems and shifting Gigabytes of personal data on millions of people and placing them on the internet for all to see.
This excellent video by Engadget is an in-depth look at the different approaches to broadband provision around the world. Looks as though we have little to moan about compared to some.
