I was very intrigued to see my old mate Jim’s Windows Phone 7 device down the pub on Friday which I must say was very slick indeed. Which was a bit of a pain to see as we’re always having a bit of friendly rivalry about which is best, WP7 or iPhone (you know where my bread is buttered).
I was even more intrigued when he pointed me to a post he made on the official Windows Phone forum where it seems that even though WP7 and Outlook are both Microsoft products you can’t actually sync your calendars and contacts from a local account. Instead you have to do it all ‘in the cloud’ and I agree with Jim that this is the last place I’d want my comings and goings and who with stored.
I know that this is video is using old tech but it’s tech just the same and I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to show it to you guys due to its sheer awesomeness!
