Just checked out this weeks festive PC Pro podcast where as last year they have their seasonal quiz they’re doing it agin. A great listen.

I don’t mind being the unabashed Apple fan boy that I am and thus am always trying to find any Mac, iPhone and iPad goodness that I can. This weeks find something much better than a bottle of cheap Co-op red (you’ll have to listen) it’s British Mac.
I’m a huge fan of podcasts. To be honest music doesn’t even get a look in anymore as my thirst for tech knowledge takes over my life. For years my weekly playlist was overrun with American injections of nerdy goodness but ever since I heard the soothing tones of a man from Maidenhead my entire podcast library has almost been completely converted to the best of British. So what are the best UK podcasts out there?
If you’ve been avidly following the continued capers of resigned Engadget editors Joshua Topolski, Paul Miller and Nilay Patel (my fave tech journalists) then you’ve probably been keeping up to date with them at their temporary home ‘This Is My Next‘. Well now the project they’ve been working on since the ‘AOL Way‘ debacle now has a name. ‘The Verge‘ is scheduled to be dropping this Autumn and I for one cannot wait!

I must be on a podcast promotion marathon. I did mention this in a previous entry but I really must recommend the weekly podcast ‘I Confess I’m A Geek‘. Presented by David from Maidenhead this is a completely British slant on tech news, almost a warm blanket of reassuring nerdiness I cannot rate this podcast more highly, especially this week which is pure comedy. Well worth a listen. Rant-tastic!

Not that I’m pushing you to other tech sites other than ours but at last (thanks to Craig) I’ve found the seeds of the ex-Engdaget editors new project. ‘This is my next…’ is a stop gap site for the awesomeness of Josh Topolski and crew. If anything it is great to hear the return of a podcast with some of the most charismatic people in tech.
